July 4 - Grandpa Don's

Tommy thought it would be nice if we all went to see Grandpa Don on the 4th of July. Tommy and Walker took some time off of work and Kali and Ryan said that they couldn't make this trip. So we made plans to go up for the weekend of the fourth and Ty and I would stay and go home the following weekend. We were surprised one night to pull up to the house late and find a Great Dane tied to Grandpa's front porch. The boys said "wow that looks like Bruce" (Kali and Ryan's Great Dane) my mom said, "who on earth would tie a dog to our porch?" Then Walker and Ty said...that is Bruce! Kali and Ryan drove up and surprised us. The surprise was on Grandpa Don when he got up the next morning to see what he thought was a horse in his house! We had a nice visit with everyone. The boys were able to do fireworks and as always we ate very well. They had a ladder ball tournament for the whole weekend. After all it wouldn't be any fun if we weren't challenging each other and everyone claiming to be the "champion"! After Tommy and Walker left Ryan, Kali and Ty went up the canyon to Sundance and rode the lift. Beautiful scenery.
